Shilo Goodman joined Nickels Wealth in July of 2024 after 27 years running her family’s business, the Fashion Barn, in Columbus. A native of the area and a graduate of Mississippi University for Women, Shilo’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business has given her a knack for making people feel welcome and valued. As Director of First Impressions, Shilo ensures that every client and visitor feels special from the moment they arrive. Her warmth and kindness create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the core values of Nickels Wealth Management.

Shilo has been married to Dean, an engineer with AT&T, for 28 years. They have two sons, Hunter and Cooper, and she’s a proud “Lolo” to her grandson, Liam. A two-time breast cancer survivor, Shilo lives by the mantra “Choose Joy!” and draws strength from her faith, especially her favorite verse, Ephesians 3:20. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”

An active member of Victory FWB Church, Shilo teaches youth classes and leads the Operation Christmas Child program. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family, planning events, and decorating for the holidays—always with a joyful heart.
